Saturday. Football. Leftovers. Family.

Hello!

So it is Saturday of Thanksgiving Break. I have had a very good break so far, my Aunt came to visit, she just left this morning, I ran a 5k, saw Harry Potter 7 Part 1, had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner, played Star Trek scene it, and have been hanging out with my sister. Good times. I can't wait for Winter Break now. Just two more weeks... of finals and stress. Ah. I will make it.

Well, my mom just made up some more stuffing, and I am hungry so I will leave this post at that. Happy Holidays!

Fresh Start.

So I stumbled upon my old blog today (breakofdaylight) and thought that I should start blogging again. I went to log in and TADA! this blog was the only one showing up. I think I might have made another account for my old blog or something. Well, here I am now, and hopefully I will keep up with this blog more regularly. I think it will be much easier for me to type out my thoughts than to write them out in a journal. SO, I don't really intend anyone to read this, but who knows. Maybe I will tell someone about this one day.

So, the title of my blog, "The Shadows Prove The Sunshine" is the name of one of my favorite Switchfoot songs. Also it is a good metaphor for life a lot of the times, especially now while I am in college.

Since this is the opening post, I am not going to pour details of my life out, but just say that Thanksgiving is soon, and I am excited! Family is wonderful.
